Blue Max II

This Skimmer was the last boat manufactured by Skimmer Boats back in 2004. She was originally sold to a gentleman in Alabama, but was bought back by the manufacturer In 2009 to be used for personal cruising and as an example of what Skimmers looked like for those interested in used boats.

Now the owner has become slightly less able and feels his health warrants the end of sailboat cruising for him, hence the boat is for sale.

The boat has all of the amenities that he felt were necessary for proper cruising and being the newest Skimmer, it is felt she would be the best boat in her class. She is an extremely fast sailor, sails best with a 15 degree heel and is very stiff after that, goes close into the wind (30 degrees), almost planes on the beam, and sails well off the wind.
