WORK VESTS
Men and women working at sea have long had the availability of work vests that are Coast Guard approved. These vests are flexible, have more buoyancy than the Coast Guard requires, and best of all they provide a freedom of movement not available with pfd's (life jackets). The flexible Ensolite foam flotation pads cover a minimum body area to increase ventilation and freedom of movement. The closed cell foam will not absorb any water. The tough vinyl coating resists caustics, acids, UV light, hydrocarbons, mildew, fading, tears and abrasions and is easy to clean with just soap and water. The webbing system, not the foam pads, is designed to take any strains or loads. The innovative chest straps help to hold the vest on the wearer during falls into the water and prevents the vest from riding up to high. The color is bright international orange.
